I’ve created a Wordle for Bahasa Indonesia so you can all see what Indonesian language looks like. This is the first time I’ve used Wordle and it’s actually very easy to use. I’m thinking of getting my Indonesian students to use Wordle as a way to show what they’ve learnt in their Indonesian classes.

The link to Wordle can be found under “Links” on this page.

Yes, it’s true… I’ve been dreaming of Moodle and moodling. (This is what happens when one doesn’t have any life… sad, I know)
Seriously, though, I am very very excited about Moodle. I wish I had used it sooner with my students. I teach Indonesian and ESL at my current school. So far, I have used Moodle with my year 7 & 8 Indonesian classes. I have also set up a course for my year 10 English/ESL class and the year 11 ESL students who are studying Business Studies. I will be posting quizzes and setting up a forum for discussion for my classes during this holiday, so they will be up and running when we come back in term 3.
As one year 7 student remarked, Moodle is great because students can access the homework and assignment that I have set for them from home or anywhere where they could get internet access. The possibilities are endless.
